Working on our website, I need lots of clean uniform photos. One easy way to do that is shooting on a white background, which is easy when photographing banana bread but cookies present a decision to be made.
Do you lay the cookie down flat on a white surface and take a top down photo or prop it up so it matches the orientation as other products?
I did some of both but to get the propped version I needed a few things. I needed a small stand which wouldn’t create too much shadow. It also has to be sturdy, and made from items I had around the house.
With a little acrylic, a Dremel and some hot glue I had a pretty ugly and almost useful product, I then added the washer as a final leg of stability.
