I know this may seem like semantics but I do think there is a difference between the mindsets of investing vs spending.

Years ago I read, time is like money. You can invest it or you can spend it. Of course we can get our head around investing money.

Sometimes the investment is easy to comprehend , like our 401k, but other times it’s harder to see like buying a bike so I can ride it and be more heathy.

The funny thing is I don’t think any investment is either all time or all money but always both.

I have to take time to invest into my retirement plan, or if I buy and bike and don’t use it it does me no good.

I just some investments are more time than money and the other way around.

Relationships have a much higher time investment than money (normally). Sure I may have to spend $1.50 I gas to get to someone but then I may spend 3 hours with them.

I dare you to write down where you are spending time vs investing time.
