The first car I bought with my own money (and cosigned by my brother) was a ’91 Camry. I assume the owners before me used something to help make rain react differently to the window, like Rain X.
The problem was no matter what I did I couldn’t get the window to be normal again. I changed the wipers and washed the window but when it rained the window had smudges which tainted my view.
I noticed I have to be careful where I get information about something or someone as they initial opinion will taint my view going forward. Even when I know differently there is often a smudged filter between me and the person or thing.
The best way to not have a smudged view is to avoid applying a dirty filter in the first place.
